  3. First of all I like to thank everybody who helped me with
  4. bug-reports, tips, routines, donations etc.
  5. With your help this program improves, so you and I have the
  6. benefits of this copier !!!

  9. YYEEAAAHHH !!!  It's RattleHead's favorite copier: RattleCopy PRO 4.0
  10. Still the fastest copier on AMIGA, here are the facts:

  22. Just some reasons to throw X-Copy out of your window:
  23.  
  24. - RattleMode, a BitMap-copier for no-dos disks, saves lots of time !
  25. - RattleCopy is the ONLY copier that can load a complete disk in
  26.   memory on 1MEG Amiga's, and it's done in 35 seconds !!!
  27.   No copier beats this...  HAHAHA !!!
  28. - Each destination has its own errormap.
  29. - Damaged tracks select.
  30. - Auto Source/Destination selection.

  36. New things since the last RattleCopy update:

  38. - Exit, KillSys, improved memory allocation.
  39.     You don't have to loose your system anymore when you have
  40.     enough memory, I think 1.5 megs is enough...
  41.     If you haven't you need to use KillSys if you want to
  42.     use the Read/Write options.

  44. - Damaged tracks select.
  45.     Very handy, it selects all tracks that gave read or verify
  46.     errors so you can retry to copy them.

  48. - New graphics.

  52. - SpaceBar copy select
  53.     Another handy option, throw your mouse in the corner when
  54.     you have a mega copyjob, just hit the spacebar to start
  55.     a copy...

  57. - Full NTSC and 68010/20/30 compatible.
  58.     Thanks to a local 68030 freak (Jaap) in my city I could make
  59.     it work good on other processors.
  60.     Because of my new Agnuschip I could test how it works on NTSC,
  61.     some bugs are removed like weird gadgetselection and a faster
  62.     clock.

  64. - 1 copy-bug removed.
  65.     I hope it's the last one, some people got sometimes strange
  66.     errors when they did a multi-destination copy.
  67.     Not just 1 track but 20 in a row !!!
  68.     (That's not a bug but a BUG !)
  69.     Reason: Bad trackstep routine, now improved.
  70.     I think this must be the last one, I get a lot of mail
  71.     about RattleCopy also with info about bugs so I can remove
  72.     them, thanks to all guys who wrote me !!!

  75. Some info about older bugs:
  76. Version 3.0    A bug made sometimes an error on a
  77.         multi-destination non-verify write.
  78.         (Can you follow that ?)
  79.         But not on all computers.
  80.         Reason: Track write timing to tight, some drives need
  81.         some time after ending their write-operation.

  83. Version 1.0    A bug made read/write errors on track 79
  84.         on 1.3 amigas.
  85.         Reason: The UserStack wasn't placed right.
